Performing artist Randeep Hooda has offered “farewell” to his symbol as Sarabjit Singh for the biopic “Sarbjit”, and he found a creative approach to end his tryst with the character – by shaving off the mustache he was displaying for it on camera.
The performing artist, who had culminated the Haryanvi intonation for “Roadway”, has this time, got the subtleties of Punjabi lingo for his part as Sarabjit Singh, an Indian rancher who was indicted terrorism and spying in Pakistan and was sentenced to death.
“Farewell Sarbjit. Appreciation to Omung Kumar, Vanita Omung Kumar, Sandeep Singh, Richa Chadda, Kiran Deohans, Aishwarya Rai, team,” Randeep posted on Twitter, alongside a video in which he talks in virtuous Punjabi.
As he says farewell to the character, he utilizes a trimmer to shave off the facial hair he had kept up for the film, which he started shooting in October. For the part, he had lost heaps of weight, leaving chief Omung Kumar relentless awed.
“Sarbjit” highlights Aishwarya in the part of Randeep’s sister, while Richa papers his wife. The film will discharge on May 20………..
