Actor Shaheer Sheik trusts that his face is not reasonable for playing negative characters. He says such parts don’t fall into place for him.
“Negative parts don’t fall into place easily for me. I have attempted to do it. I once tried out for a negative character. They recently said that I don’t look that awful. My face sometimes falls short for that. Be that as it may, I would love to play (a negative part) if given a chance, as I prefer to test,” Shaheer told IANS.
Shaheer, who rose to acclaim through his depiction of Arjun in “Mahabharat” publicized on Star Plus, feels doing a fanciful show is “harder” than doing day by day cleansers….
I feel daily soap is the most difficult form of acting and mythological is tougher than that. Arjun was the most difficult character that I have played,” he said.
“It’s really challenging doing a mythological show. Challenging… not in terms of costumes, but in terms of language and the way in which you have to maintain that aura of the character,” he added.
Asked whether he would like to do a reality show, Shaheer, who hosted a few Indonesian TV shows including “Asia’s Got Talent”, said: “I’m not that kind of a person who would love to live with 15 to 20 people in a strange house. I was offered a few other shows too when I was in Indonesia, but because of time constraint, I couldn’t do it. Maybe, I would like to do some dance-based show in the future”.
Shaheer is currently seen in “Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi”, which is being aired on Sony Entertainment Television…….
