Tellychakkar.com has already reported about Sairity Banerjee playing the negative role in the serial and that she has the power to transforms into a naagin.
So, now we bring to you the story details of the show and the actors who are playing key roles. Read on.
Well, young actress Shreema Bhattacherjee is essaying the parallel lead. And Shaurja Bhattacharya will be seen in the role of a king. The other actors to essay important roles are Dolon Roy, Moumita Chakraborty, Sayak, Suchismita and others.
Now coming to the plot, set against the backdrop of Sundarbans, it is the tale of conflict between two kingdoms, where one worships Lord Shiva and the other idolizes Ma Manasa. The fact that both idolizes two different Gods would be the main cause of conflict between them.
Amidst all these, there would be the birth of a love triangle, which would lead to another emotional battle. Princess Lilaboti (Sairity) would fall in love with king Ishaan Roy (Shaurja), who on the other hand would fall in love with Ganga (Shreema). Lilaboti is a devotee of Ma Manasa and has the power to transform into a venomous snake while Ganga is an innocent devotee of Lord Shiva.
Who eventually will win the king’s heart and what is the mystery behind Lilaboti’s history are for the viewers to unearth by watching the tale.
Talking about the show, director Amol Kumar Banik said, “It is neither completely a mythology nor a fairy tale. It is an amalgamation of both. We were inspired from mythological characters but the story is basically an imaginary one.”
“We have named the serial Naagleela as it mainly revolves around the antagonist,” he added.
