In a democracy, you cannot dictate what one should eat or watch a movie on a social issue.”

Udta Punjab has also received an order to remove Punjab from its title. To this, Priyanka Chopra responded, “Title is the creativity of every producer and director. So, how can it be changed?”

Last week, Akshay Kumar’s film Housefull 3 released and has already become one of the successful films of 2016. When asked about Udta Punjab issue, the actor chose to remain mum but spoke about the time when his film Desi Boyz had run in with the censor board. He said, “Nothing like that. I made a film which was very entertaining, Desi Boyz, it got an adult certificate. Eros International (producer) knows about it. So there’s nothing like that. If it gets stuck, it gets stuck.”

As reported earlier, Udta Punjab had a hearing earlier this afternoon in Bombay High Court and the verdict will be out on Monday June 13, 2016.,,,,,,,,,
