Moans Alia, “Udta Punjab has been the hardest film of my profession in this way. Playing my character Mary Jane was difficult. The torment that she experiences is not something I could relate to. I could just identify with her. In doing as such I was left totally depleted. I require a break.”
London is one of Alia’s most loved urban communities and she is set for chill with her non-filmi companions….
Says the excited actress, “My best friend Akanksha will be with me. She and I have been friends from the time we were kids.”
Akanksha is part of a group of non-filmy friends that Alia has kept up relations with in spite of her gruelling schedules. “I think it’s very important for me to have friends outside the film industry. We girls will be having a lot of fun for the next two weeks, just how much so everyone will know from the pictures I post on Instagram……..
